Concerts! Concerts! Concerts!

Hello All!

Friday night I went to the Los Lonely Boys concert with my Grandma and her best friend Mary. The Los Lonely Boys are a bluesy, rock band with some Latin flair from Texas. Their freestyle guitar solos have characteristics of Stevie Ray Vaughn (love!). It was a concert unlike any that I’ve been to. The guys are great at engaging the crowd and project their feel good vibe on the audience. I really enjoyed how smoothly they transitioned sing in English to sing in Spanish. Smooth as Butter! Overall, a great show and you should all go to if you are wanting to listen to some great guitar playing. Plus, concerts with my Grandma and Mary are ALWAYS a blast!!

Speaking of Stevie Ray Vaughn, yesterday I flew into his home town, Austin, for a couple shows and to see my sister. Austin is my favorite city to visit and hopefully someday live in. They always have so much going on. I mean it is Live Music Capital of the United States.

Tomorrow I will be seeing Coheed an d Cambria, one of my favorites. This will be my like 10th time seeing Coheed and they always amaze me. This concert is going to be one for the books! It is the 10th anniversary of their first album, sstb, and they are playing it all the way through. Along with an acoustic set and much, much more!

So EXCITED!!!!!!!

Then on Tuesday I will be seeing Kings of Leon and Band of Horses! I have seen KOL before and they were soo good. I love the Followill boys. They are super talented and super sexy :)

Matthew Followill from the first time I saw them.

Stay tuned for reviews!!

Concert Bucket List

I've been to LOTS of concerts, but there are still plenty of artists I would love to see. Here is just a preview of my Concert Bucket List.

-Aerosmith
-Elton John
-The Black Keys
-GirlTalk- I don't dance, but I would totally get down at a GirlTalk Show!
-Taking Back Sunday
-John Mayer
-Blink 182
-The Kooks
-Iron & Wine
-Monsters of Folk
-James Taylor
-KISS
-Manchester Orchestra, Kevin Devine and Brand New- I have seen them all in concert, but not all at one show. They use to do tours together A LOT and I would love for them to do it again. Like in the video below!

This makes me fall in love with them all over again.

Brand New!!!!!

My First Manchester Show and got to meet Andy Hull!!

Me with Kevin Devine and the boyfriend!

I'm positive this list will continue to grow tremendously as I continue to broaden my music pallet.

I encourage everyone to make a concert bucket list. They are fun and give you something to look forward to. Plus, it's always a nice feeling to accomplish something and check it off a list!
